I like the Derma E Vitamin C serum! It has aloe, green tea, and hyaluronic acid in it so it's super nourishing and soothing. Plus it contains probiotics which is a plus!

I like this one as well. And its cheap!

Hi is this the serum or micellar water?

I'll put it out there that I've tried The Ordinary and Drunk Elephant and both were not good for my skin. I know these brands are well regarded but they just didn't work for me. Hoping to find others with super sensative skin that have other suggestions!

I just tried the drink elephant one this weekend on my arm and it made it itch so much.

The OG Skinceuticals C E Ferulic. I buy deluxe samples off eBay. They come in packs of 5 for around $50, with each sample being ~5ml. They're perfect because each sample takes about 2 weeks to finish, so the product doesn't have a chance to oxidize, and while you're using one, you can keep the others in the fridge to keep them fresh.

Fellow sensitive skin person looking to add vitamin c into my routine. Stalking this thread! Also curious if you mix with lotion or use as a solo layer,

Maybe try a derivative type of vitamin c. The ordinary ascorbyl glucoside is really gentle.

I have super sensitive skin, and this has been the only vitamin c serum that brightens while being quite gentle indeed. Definitely still can't use it every day with my skin though.

Expensive, but biossance vitamin c with squalane. Smells beautiful and sinks in perfectly. You can get a sample for only $5. Lasted me about a month or so only using 3 drops at night. Spreads with ease so there's no need to use much

I have that same sample but I was planning on giving it away to someone. Did you notice it doing any brightening to your skin

I really like The Ordinary's Vit C serums – the key is to use just a tiny bit, but it's cheap enough to try out.

DE C Firma broke me out. I tried buffering it with lotion and it still irritated my skin. My skin is super sensitive (I can't use any AHAs or retinoids, and I've tried a lot). I've been using the Kiehl's Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate (with 12.5% Vitamin C) since February and I haven't had any irritation. The bottle lasts a long time (I use 1 pump every night) and it makes my skin really smooth and glowy.

I know this post is from awhile ago, but I wanted to comment as I had the same problem. Many AHAs were really irritating. I switched to Mandelic Acid, and those problems went away. Stratia makes a mandelic acid AHA and it's wonderful. It sounds like you have tried many, so maybe you have already tried Mandelic Acid, but for me it was really helpful.

Drunk Elephant C Firma.
Clinique Fresh Pressed if your especially sensitive and want that glow in seconds. Great stuff.

I don't even have sensitive skin but DE C-Firma gave me red irritation bumps :/

I'm using DE C-Firma right now and it doesn't break me out. I've also used Truth Serum. I have really reactive skin.

Dear Klairs Vitamin C serum is a good one for sensitive skin. You can also mix a couple drops into your moisturizer if it's still a little harsh.
